When a friendly exhibition match between the U.S. and U.S.S.R. turns ugly after his buddy Apollo Creed is killed in the ring by Soviet Ivan Drago, Rocky dedicates himself to avenging Apollo's death by challenging the seemingly indestructible (hint: steroids) Drago on his turf - the Soviet Union.

What follows are epic montages, a kick-ass soundtrack and another Rocky bout for the ages, concluding with his epic speech, which helped thaw relations between the cold war rivals. No, really.
